Purposes of Processing

The main purposes for which data collected through the Website are processed are listed below:

1. Contact and Information Requests
   Data provided via forms or email will be processed solely to respond to user enquiries.
   Legal basis: The Controller’s legitimate interest in responding to requests.
   Provision of data: Optional; however, failure to provide data will make it impossible to respond.

2. General Marketing Activities (Newsletters, Promotional Emails)
   Subject to prior consent, GILMATEX s.r.l. may send informational emails regarding company activities, products and services.
   Legal basis: Consent of the data subject, which can be withdrawn at any time.
   Retention period: 24 months, unless consent is withdrawn earlier.

3. Curriculum Vitae
   The Website does not provide a facility to submit CVs. However, any CVs received via other channels will be processed solely for the purpose of assessing potential professional collaborations.
   Legal basis: Execution of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject.

4. Profiling
   The Website does not carry out profiling activities.

5. Geolocation
   The Website does not use geolocation tools.

PROCESSING METHODS

Data will be processed using manual or electronic means suitable to ensure data security and confidentiality, in accordance with the principle of data minimisation.
No special categories of personal data (e.g. health, ideological or judicial data) are processed.

DATA DISCLOSURE

Data may be disclosed to third parties (e.g. consultants, IT service providers, competent authorities) solely as necessary to comply with contractual or legal obligations.
Data will not be disseminated or transferred to third parties for purposes other than those stated, unless explicit consent is given.

DATA RETENTION

• Contact form/email enquiries: retained for 12 months following the response.

• Marketing activities: retained for up to 24 months from the date of consent, unless withdrawn earlier.

• CVs: retained for a maximum of 12 months.

• Administrative documents: retained for 10 years in accordance with tax obligations.

TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EU

There is currently no transfer of personal data outside the EU. If such transfer occurs in the future, it will be carried out in compliance with the adequacy requirements set forth in Articles 45 et seq. of the GDPR.

Pursuant to Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, the data subject may exercise the following rights at any time:

• Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of or objection to processing;
