For over 35 years, Gilmatex has been manufacturing socks and sports underwear for national and international brands, combining Italian craftsmanship, advanced technology, and a strong customer focus. Each of our products is the result of passion, precision, and know-how.
Our story
Founded in 1987 in Marghera (Venice), Gilmatex began as a distributor of underwear. The founder dedicated the company to his family, finding the name in the acronym Gianni, Giulia, Loretta and Marta, combined with Textile.
In the 1990s, it began producing sports socks, constantly expanding its machinery and experience in the sector.
In 2014, it began custom production for international sports brands, also introducing seamless underwear. Today, Gilmatex operates from two production facilities —Treviso (socks) and Mantua (seamless)—with a capacity of over 3.5 million garments per year.
